I went to a hot tub in Saratoga tonight. It’s the usual spot we go to because the residents don’t seem to mind how late you use it, if you even live there, and what you do in it as long as you clean up after yourself and you don’t make too much noise. It’s also the hottest public hot tub I’ve known. ;)
There’s nothing like just melting away and relaxing in a hot tub. The roaring jets beaming on your back, the weightlessness of your body, and to top it off—-the company of someone who embodies your soul.
After the hot tub we walked into a nearby public park and just looked up to the stars. Gazing into the deep blanket of space got me thinking of how small we are in relation to the rest of the universe—-heck even to the rest of the planet. If you think about it, we’re all insignificant pieces just co-existing with one another. I don’t want to waste my time wishing for things that I’ll never have, or that society makes you think that you need.
I don’t need much. I don’t ask for much. I just want to peacefully exist.
